Each Sunday, Eliot offers our worship service in a hybrid format allowing people to worship in the sanctuary or from home via Zoom or Facebook. We are seeking 3-6 technicians to assist in the weekly set-up, management, and break-down of our audio visual technology on Sunday mornings from 8:30am – 11:30am. Each week two technicians will be on duty. Responsibilities include:

• Set up of camera, television, laptop, microphones
• Managing the sound system using a sound board
• Managing the Zoom experience by acting as meeting host, switching between camera and slideshow views, advancing the slideshow, and managing attendees
• Breakdown of camera, television, laptop, microphones

Familiarity with audio visual equipment and Zoom management is a must.

Compensation is $20/hour for three hours each Sunday. Technicians should be able to commit to at least two Sundays each month.

TITLE: Building Maintenance Assistant

PURPOSE: To assist in providing maintenance services for the church grounds and interior maintenance required by Building Maintenance Supervisor

ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to Director of Operations as direct supervisor; accountable to the Pastor as head of staff

HOURS: 8 hours per week, flexible schedule

PAY: From $17.00 per hour, based on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide assistance in the growing season to water the plants in the front of the church, mow the lawn and trim the lawn and the bushes.

Provide assistance in shoveling and salting the sidewalks on Summer and Favor Streets as necessary, making sure that there is a safe walkway to the street at both the Summer and Favor Street entrances to the church.  

Provide custodial, maintenance, and repair tasks as facility support, per agreement with the Building Maintenance Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant must have knowledge of tools and their application and experience in building maintenance and repair.
